Camp provides the perfect opportunity to improve skills, make new friends, laugh hard, and smile a lot. During the summer of 2014 more than 70,000 US and international campers attended a US Sports Camps program. US Sports Camps currently offers 24 programs in 15 different sports.

Our summer sports camps include: Baseball, Basketball, Crew, Field Hockey, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Lacrosse, Multi-Sport, Rugby, Running, Soccer, Softball, Swim, Tennis, Ultimate, Volleyball, Waterpolo, and Yoga. We also offer several International sports camps around the world. Our sports camps continue to grow thanks to an outstanding community of Camp Directors and the dedication of the entire USSC staff. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Each camp director is responsible for hiring their own staff and typically hire in late winter and early spring. CAMP FACILITIES: Goucher has a beautiful, wooded, 285 acre campus. The newly renovated dining hall features farm to table fresh ingredients, the facilities have the latest technology, and the sports and athletic facilities are all maintained at a collegiate level.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We have various camp options with programs focusing on all sports, tennis, field hockey, soccer, lacrosse, robotics, engineering, science, earth science, chemistry, STEM, little medical school, and much more.

CAMP FACILITIES: Lodging formats include cluster style rooms with semi-private baths, micro fridges, microwave ovens as well as traditional rooms with a central bath. In addition, facilities include astro turf fields, natural grass fields, swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball court and an 8 lane track for track and field.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Moravek Soccer School can confirm staff for the July 27-31, 2014 residential program. Staff will include Dale Blair from Fulham FC—England, Sepp Schoofs from PSV Eindhoven/FC Eindhoven – Netherlands, and Yuri Bogdanov from Mclean Soccer - USA. In addition, Fulham FC scout and Moravek Soccer School President, William Moravek will be in attendance. Yuri Bogdanov also played as an academy player in Zenit St. Petersburg's youth program in Russia.

In past camps we have had coaches and scouts from Arsenal FC – England, Southampton FC – England, Benfica FC – Portugal, Real Juventude (Real Madrid´s sister program) – Spain, Fulham FC – England, PSV Eindhoven – Netherlands and Jamaica National Team staff among others in attendance.

Technical Director and owner, William Moravek explains "We are extremely lucky to have such fine individuals from which our students can gain so much valuable information. It is also a fantastic opportunity for the area´s top youth players to be exposed to what has been so successful in Europe in regards to football youth development.

In 2010 we also had two academy players from Queens Park Rangers FC, and trialists from Chelsea, Reading and Fulham FC of England in attendance. This was a fantastic experience for all the players and certainly raised the standard of training through the week. In 2011 we had two of our students sign academy contracts with Fulham FC and another two students who were able to go train with that same club. It is important for us to share ideas and also grasp concepts and ideas from countries that have accomplished so much in the game over the years.

This is why we always have such a diverse and high level of professional coach and player at these camps. In addition we regularly get some of the best players from the area in attendance from clubs like Bethesda SC, Baltimore Bays, Mclean Premier Soccer, Potomac Soccer, Loudoun Soccer, Arlington Soccer, Soca Elite and Ashburn Soccer to name a few with players coming from as far as England, Germany, Florida, Kentucky and Guam in the past."

OTHER CAMP INFO: William H. Moravek
President & Technical Director

Recognized as a pioneer in youth and professional soccer in the Concacaf Region, Bill Moravek established his soccer school to motivate the young players of Loudoun County and to share his passion and love for the game. Moravek is currently an official Scout for 2010 Europa League Finalists, Fulham FC, of England's Premier League. He was an official scout for English professional side, Southampton FC and was a coach for them from 2001-2003. Southampton FC were longstanding participants in The Premier League which is considered to be one of the most exciting and finest professional soccer leagues in the world.

In 2003, Moravek was an assistant coach with Jamaica's National Team which saw him in action against the USA, Nigeria, Paraguay, Cuba and Brazil. In 2000-2001, Moravek was the head national team coach for the British Virgin Islands and Seba United FC in Jamaica’s premier division of their pro league. He is the first and youngest American coach to lead a foreign national and professional team outside of the USA. In addition, he has coached with the Maryland Mania of the professional “A” League and college sides, NCAA Division 1, Longwood University, Howard University and NCAA Division 2 Shepherd University.

Moravek still holds all scoring records for Loudoun County High school that date back to 1986 and 1987. He was also a scholarship athlete for Clemson University's 1987 National Championship and 1988 World Collegiate winning teams. In addition, he was a member of Clemson's Gator Bowl winning football team of 1989-1990. In 2003, The Loudoun Times Mirror Newspaper named Moravek as one of the All-Time Best Athletes to come out of Loudoun County, Virginia.

Moravek has earned the USSF “A” License, AYSO certificate and is a qualifier for the prestigous UEFA "A" License

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: From Scratch + Minecraft to Python Programming and Web Development, our coding camps for kids are the perfect way to spend time off school.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have 4 cabin groups, or "hills," with 4-8 rustic cabins per hill, as well as 3 air-conditioned, dormitory-style buildings. All areas have access to multiple volleyball courts, basketball nets, our outdoor pool, and gaga pit. A modern dining hall and health center, along with rustic trading post, fellowship hall, and outdoor chapel are all located along the Chester River.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Pecometh is proudly accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). Established in 1946, we have been providing campers with life-changing, God-inspired experiences for over 70 years. Summer Camp sessions are typically five days in length, beginning on Sunday afternoon and ending after lunch on Fridays. Depending on the program, campers stay in rustic cabins or dorm-style facilities, and are supervised by our trained staff 24 hours a day.

All of our counselors are at least 18 years of age or graduated from high school and have received professional training, including First-Aid & CPR/AED certifications and bullying awareness and prevention training. Our Lifeguards are certified through the American Red Cross. There is a nurse on site at all times and the closest major hospital is less than 15 miles away. Our dining hall serves up tasty, nutritious meals and campers can have all they want, including fruit and salad bar at lunch and dinner.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Pecometh offers a Staff-in-Training leadership program for participants who are completing 10th or 11th grade. This is an intensive 2-week program that includes hands-on leadership training and experience, and earns participants nearly 60 volunteer hours! CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Pecometh offers a campership program for families in need of assistance. We also offer a grant program for campers who receive federal assistance. FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Pecometh offers two kinds of family programs. Once each summer, Pecometh offers a Single Parent Family Retreat. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We only accept serious players with previous competitive soccer experience. Every year talented players attend our camps and challenge each other to the limit, growing in skill and experience. A number of our campers have experienced training trials with professional clubs in Holland. Our programs are designed to help players achieve their maximum potential through progressive exercises that are individually challenging, as well as appropriate to the age and ability of each player.

We fly in our coaches directly from the Netherlands. They are not merely coaches: they are also teachers. Many of our coaches have graduated from a four- year CIOS College. At the Central Institution of Sports, coaches not only received their coaching licenses from the global leader in soccer development: KNVB (Royal Dutch Soccer Federation) but also learn how to work with, encourage and incentivize young athletes. Every camp group will have the same Dutch coach for the entire week. Our coaches will get to know each of the players in their group and can coach them individually, assessing their needs and improving the specific areas best for them.

CAMP FACILITIES: Glenelg Country School campers enjoy opportunities to utilize the pool, athletic center, tennis courts, playing fields, theater, outdoor amphitheater, technology labs, pond, outdoor classrooms, and other amenities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Glenelg Country School has been offering quality summer programs for over 30 years. Our Summer programs provide children entering Pre-K4 through grade 12 with a fun and educational experience in a relaxed and safe environment. These programs include traditional, adventure, sport, and specialized day camps and sport clinics. A Counselor-in-Training program is also offered for high school aged students.

Extended day program, bus service, swim lessons, and pool memberships are also available. Our summer programs are staffed by members of the Glenelg Country School faculty, supplemented by other qualified professionals, and assisted by junior counselors; all staff members undergo a criminal background check and we maintain a camper-to-staff ratio of less that 10 to 1.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Counselor in Training Program offers opportunities for older campers to work on leadership skills during the summer, including hands-on activities, team-building, communication, and problem-solving.
