We Also Offer Private School Tutoring By One Of Our Teacher Administration Members. These Lessons Take Place After Lunch & Will Not Impact A "normal" Activity Schedule.
CAMP LOCATION: Camp Wildwood is located in the White Mountains, approx. 40 miles west of Portland, Maine. We are situated on 150 acres and border pristine Woods Pond for more than half of those acres. Please visit our website for a site map, virtual tour, and lots of beautiful photographs.
CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Wildwood is considered one of the finest camps in North America. We have the rare combination of spectacular surroundings, with beautiful well cared for playing fields. We also have our own 25,000 sq. foot gym for rainy days and a 4 hole par 14 golf course. The campers and staff live in cabins complete with bathroom facilities and electricity.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our campers pick their activities every day from a schedule we provide them. We ask only that the boys "try" everything and just pick the three activities they're comfortable with. All activity choice periods include a team sport, individual sport, and non-athletic activity to choose from. For instance, your son might have to choose between baseball, waterskiing, and art or perhaps soccer, ropes, and yoga/fitness. We track their choices and recommend to them after a few weeks some choices that they have not tried ensuring a well rounded activity schedule.
We're a well rounded community of great kids and staff, that truly believe in positive role models, proper sportsmanship, and it doesn't hurt that we serve unbelievable food from a top notch professional kitchen staff that can handle food allergies of most any kind (or any kind of picky eater). We are totally NUT FREE and are fully solar powered. Please go to Our Camp Website Link: www.campwildwood.com to experience what makes Wildwood so special.
