CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We only accept serious players with previous competitive soccer experience. Every year talented players attend our camps and challenge each other to the limit, growing in skill and experience. A number of our campers have experienced training trials with professional clubs in Holland. Our programs are designed to help players achieve their maximum potential through progressive exercises that are individually challenging, as well as appropriate to the age and ability of each player.
We fly in our coaches directly from the Netherlands. They are not merely coaches: they are also teachers. Many of our coaches have graduated from a four- year CIOS College. At the Central Institution of Sports, coaches not only received their coaching licenses from the global leader in soccer development: KNVB (Royal Dutch Soccer Federation) but also learn how to work with, encourage and incentivize young athletes. Every camp group will have the same Dutch coach for the entire week. Our coaches will get to know each of the players in their group and can coach them individually, assessing their needs and improving the specific areas best for them.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our camp is located at St. Michael's Abbey of the Norbertine Fathers. The camp utilizes our boarding school facilities for sleeping, eating, and praying in the abbey church.
Our 36 acre property is perfect for a boys' camp, with sports fields, hiking, and an on-site pool.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: St. Michael’s Summer Camp is a day and night resident camp for boys, ages 7-12. It has been in operation since 1962 and is accredited by the American Camping Association. Sessions are one week long, from Sunday afternoon to Saturday afternoon, extending from early July to early August.
Operated by the priests and seminarians of St. Michael’s Abbey, the camp offers good, wholesome fun in a safe environment, as well as instruction in the Catholic faith and participation in the sacraments.
With a wide variety of activities, ranging from classic team sports to tarantula hunting to epic battles that determine the fate of the entire universe, St. Michael’s Summer Camp is truly “Where All Boys Have Fun!”®
Upon their arrival on Sunday afternoon, the campers are divided into councils of 6-8 boys per counselor. The campers are always supervised. Even at night, two staff members are present in every dorm. Sleeping arrangements consist of three bunkrooms and one large military tent, each sleeping 3-6 councils.

Cal continues to be one of the nation’s top programs for developing talent to play professionally. In 2013, Cal had 18 players in the pro ranks including 13 in the MLS and three in Europe. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Urban Adventure Camps is unique week-long day camp that takes campers on fun, educational fields trip adventures every day of the week. Groups visit the Bay Area's best museums, parks, galleries, science centers, and various other urban attractions and city centers. Public transportation is used to travel between locations, thereby developing the campers knowledge and confidence when traveling within a city. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We are looking for responsible kid friendly camp counselors for our summer 2017 camps. Imagine taking daily field trips around the Bay Area to all of your favorite places. At Urban Adventure Camps you will get a chance to play hard and work hard, all while experiencing the Bay Area.
Our summer counselors get the opportunity to explore and learn right along side the kids. Whether it's an exciting week of learning science at places like the Exploratorium and Bay Aquarium, or a week of art visiting places like the De Young and the SF MOMA. Of course the fun doesn't stop there! There are daily field trips to the Bay Area's top museums, science centers, and urban attractions just waiting for you! It could just be the best job you will ever have! Most importantly, imagine yourself making a difference in the lives of children.
Requirements: We want people to apply who have a genuine love for and interest in working with children. Some experience is necessary. We would like to hire counselors who are a minimum of 18 years of age and be in at least their first year of college. Must have valid authorization to work within the US. We are looking for responsible applicants with a willingness to learn, be a part of an awesome team, who will work hard, but also who know how to have a great time! CAMP FACILITIES: The University of California, Santa Cruz is located 35 miles from San Jose, on a beautiful coastal campus overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by gorgeous views and towering redwoods, campers are inspired to develop their love of the game and improve their individual and team skills.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO:
Our camp directors are among the finest coaches in America. They have a major stake in providing camps of the highest quality: camps that are fun, that improve the skills of the campers, and that provide the campers with the opportunity to make new, life-long friends. The best place to become a better soccer player is in the company of coaches and players who share your passion. Their program at UC Santa Cruz emphasizes small group tactics within the framework of team strategy and game play, and campers leave with a deeper and more improved understanding of the game. Specialized goalkeeper instruction is available but will not be the primary focus of the camp.

CAMP FACILITIES: Cedar Lake has various bunkhouses and lodges. We can accommodate multiple groups at one time, and have a 290 camper maximum capacity.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Cedar Lake does not facilitate programs, but works with each group to ensure their program goes smoothly.
Cedar Lake Camp also offers many activities for groups including canoeing, swimming, hiking, volleyball, basketball, campfires, disc golf and an exceptional challenge course.
Facilities include an outdoor amphitheater and first-rate meeting hall with movie screen and audio/visual equipment. Lodging options include lodges, bunkhouses and cottages - all in a beautiful mountain setting.
The owners of Cedar Lake Camp also direct a week of summer camp for children in the 3rd through 12th grade during the last week of July. If you have a child that would like to attend a great week of camp, but do not have a group affiliation, this may be the answer.
